Cresencio is back and we are happy to present his new tasty Pacas from the steep slopes of Santa Barbara mountain range with beautiful cup notes of Vanilla, Cherry Cola, Flora, and Cardamon.
We recommend this coffee for filter coffee, pour-over, AeroPress, French press.

Cresencio Izaguirre is a second-generation coffee farmer from El Cedral, a small village on the slopes of Santa Barbara. Cresencio regards his ability to continue his parents' profession to be one of his greatest achievements in his life and his passion for the trade really shines through in his coffees. His coffee trees grow on steep slopes boasting in sun and wind and accessible only by foot or a mule. Optimal conditions for developing excellent cup notes but extremely challenging ones for farming duties.
Cresencio is one of our very first partners and he has played a significant role in our path to specialty coffee. We first met him in 2014 and purchased his coffee already before Populus Coffee really existed. His coffee was also among the first coffees we ever roasted. All this makes Cresencio's coffee all the more special for us.
